My Van

We have this old van that Teresa got when the company she worked for went belly up. It's ran for about 7 years longer than we expected :). It got "tagged" on Cinco De Mayo 2008 and I finally did something about it. I used home exterior semi-gloss paint though, we'll see how long it lasts.

Lexi's Blessing

One of the best days of my life, Lexi blessing. I have to admit i did not close my eyes, I just looked down into hers. She just stared up at me, looked into my eyes and was quiet and listening through the whole blessing. It was awesome. Thanks Dad, so much for coming all the way from Utah to be there.

Now for the picture, it was a different story.

Legos

Ok, I went a little nuts, we were given some legos from a friend and it got me on the lego kick. I started watching craigslist and bought two large bins from someone desperate to pay their electric bill. There is about 100 lbs of legs here. Can't wait to have my nephews over!!!!

Lexi's Development

It's kinda early, but Lexi is starting to grab at stuff, it's so cute. Teresa says this is something they look for with 4 month old kids, well Lexi is 3 months and doing it. :)

Moving To Utah

It's 99% official. We are moving to Utah. By the end of this year, or maybe at the end of this year. Even if we had to drive on Christmas it would be fine by me. I'm getting so excited to leave the desert!

Yes we are starting over so if anyone has any connections for work or a nice home to rent we would appreciate some leads.

Lexi got 5 shots!

Today Lexi had her 2 month well child check up. She had to get 5 shots! I felt so bad for her, she screamed louder than I have heard her yet. I have always hated when my kids had to get a shot. I know it is important, but it makes me so sad. It has been so nice having a baby in the house again! I just love her so much, she has the sweetest spirit. Katelyn and Lockton are really enjoying her now that she is smiling and cooing back at them. I have really enjoyed being home with my kids. I start back at work in two weeks! It has flown by.

The Riley Boys score on Saturday

First on Saturday morning somebody stopped in front of our house to tell me they were having a Garage Sale around the corner, so I go and see, this guy says i have a train set I'll sell for 25 bucks, so I say "ok", sight unseen. I can't believe what I got, three boxes, a large storage bin and a laundry basket of misc stuff, almost tripling my already huge collection. I'd say it was the remnants of about 5 train set and extras worth probably 750 bucks brand new. Took 2 hours to sort and organize.



Then later that day I was DJing but Teresa took the kids to Amazing Jakes(Chuckie Cheese on steroids) with a friend and when Lockton was cashing in his tickets, the 16 year old girl behind the counter accidentally hit one of the digits twice, basically multiplying his tickets by 10, and just said "oops, oh well, nobody saw that". So Lock got this huge Supersoaker and about 50 large army men.

OK, Indiana Jones, ??? *** Caution Spoilers ***

Ok, so we saw Indian Jones and the Crystal Skull today and I need to see what everyone thought. First of all, very entertaining, great special effects, funny, etc. Ok, but no one at Lucas films thought that maybe it should all make sense??? Can someone please tell me what Jedi/Ninja was able to remove the Crystal Skull from the 13th member of the Psychic Crystal Alien Hive? I'm just getting started. So, basically the crystal aliens were just about to combine into a super alien, the exact same one from Stargate, pack things up and leave without a trace but some Conquistador climbed into the space ship and ripped off the head of one of the thirteen crystal aliens, who are psychic don't forget, which then froze them. So he left with only the one skull of thirteen and hid it away somewhere until he died, and a pyramid and booby trap guantlet was built over the space ship protected by savages?????? also the artifacts by the door??? What, The aliens collected them there??? cuz there was no room in the 1 mile radius flying saucer???? Then the aliens just bury them in the lake they left behind completely destroyed??? This all made perfect sense to Indiana Jones???? Did I miss something????? ALL I can say is Lost better make sense, A LOT of sense, when it's all said and done.

Perfect time to have Lexi!

I am feeling so blessed with the timing of when this little angel came into our lives. I was able to take 3 months off of work! Soooooo, I get to spend almost the entire summer being a stay at home mommy with my kids. I am loving it. Also, with gas prices so high, I am saving so much money by not having to drive around (that is about 1/4 of my job). And, not to mention that I don't have to drive around in this AZ heat!
Lexi is such a good baby! She is so precious! The kids just love her. Lockton is feeling a little like (hey I was the baby) but he just loves her to death. And Katelyn can't stop holding her and showing her off to her friends.
We have already taken Lexi to 3 movies and she just slept all the way through them! We saw Horton Hears a Who the other day, the kids loved it! And they have already been swimming a ton just since Katelyn got out of school. I probably wont take Lexi swimming for another month or so, she is just still so little! Anyway, I am excited that we actually got a BLOG started!
